In this screencast we show you how to add a remote folder to your DV Kitchen upload menu, so you can publish movies and pictures to the web with just one click.
To set this up you’ll need to know:
- Your web site root directory path (eg: username/public_html/)
- FTP username and password
Once connected, you’ll be able to browse your server and choose the location to store your video files.
You could just dump them all in the root folder, but for the sake of organization it’s a good idea to create a purpose dedicated media folder just as you would on your local drive. In fact, DV Kitchen is flexible enough to remember multiple storage folders on the same server.
Having uploaded your videos, you then have the ability to review and delete any clip right from the DV Kitchen console.
